About Us

BAS Project is an online magazine driven by a global network of communities serving its members who are stakeholders of Building Automation Systems.

Membership in a local community is free and is open to individuals who are end-users, designers, builders and manufacturers of Building Automation Systems and related components. A community connects members within a defined geographic market. Membership in multiple communities is available.

The mission of BAS Project is to create for its membership the possibility of education, self-expression and contribution; to educate members about relevant technologies and connect them with products and services available to the community; to share one's knowledge and experience; to contribute to the growth of our industry and environmental sustainability of our communities.

Content is free of advertisements and contains case-studies, white papers, products showcase and industry news. Content is generated by contributing community members and is peer reviewed and published by the BAS Project Team - the result is valuable content enabling the Project to deliver on its mission. Contributing members receive full ackowledgement for their contribution. BAS Project is updated monthly and content is archived for browsing and searching by all communities throughout the world. Sent by email once-monthly, newsletters update subscribers about new content relevant to both their community and the world.

The Products and Services Directory is available exclusively to members, and links members to the web sites of product and service providers for quick access to their content.

The Discussion Forum is available exclusively to members, and allows community members to seek and discuss solutions to their building automation system requirements. Content is moderated enabling the Project to deliver on its mission.

BAS Project is scheduled to begin delivering content in January 2010.
